Hi, I’m Brittney Frankson, MA, LPCC.
NPI - 1396489662
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC). I am currently working toward my Ph.D. in the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Northern Colorado. I am also a graduate of the University of Denver, where I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
For the past three years, I have gained extensive experience providing mental health services in the Denver metro area. My work as a psychotherapist has occurred in various settings, including private practice, community mental health, adult outpatient treatment programs, and university psychological services clinics.
The diversity of these experiences has significantly impacted and informed my clinical approach. My clinical approach as a therapist is rooted in healing, social justice and is trauma-oppression-informed. I am committed to creating a space of unconditional acceptance and support by showing up to this space with authenticity, compassion, and empathy.
I engage in my work by being grounded in my identity as an immigrant Black Woman and view intersectionality as the foundation for therapeutic exploration and change. I offer tools and support to empower my clients by building resilience and improving their sense of safety, belonging, pride, community, and healing.
